A Compulsory Purchase Order (CPO) allows certain public bodies, like local councils or transport authorities, to buy land or property without the owner's agreement. This power is used when the land is needed for projects that benefit the public, such as new roads, railways, housing, or utilities.

Compulsory Purchase Order Inquiry
Notice is given that Public Local Inquiries in connection with the Compulsory Purchase Orders.
These will be held by an Inspector appointed by the Secretary of State for Transport starting at 10am on Tuesday 10th February at The Lake House Waterloo, Cambridge Road, L22 1RR.
This is to hear representations from remaining objectors from any other persons having interest in the land subject to the CPO, and at the Inspector's discretion, to hear representations from any other persons who may want to appear and be heard.
